| ABOUT DIRTY GREEN |
| As if from the soil itself, DIRTY GREEN emerged in the summer of 2005 for the sake of the song after
collaborating on a project with singer/songwriter Aaron Mitchell. Through non-traditional percussion, melodic bass-lines, bluegrass
flatpicking and wails, and smooth 'n' twangy guitar leads DIRTY GREEN has cultivated a hybrid of authentic, yet truly original music
planted in early american roots. Influenced by, but not limited to american folk, americana, and early country, DIRTY GREEN offers a
wide array of original ballads, pseudo-rockabilly romps, and a hearty batch of heart-wailing folk songs. In 2006 DIRTY GREEN
established a year long, bi-monthly residency at The Horseshoe Bar and Grill while occassionally haunting other venues and hosting local
roots showcase events, such as The Johnny Cash B-day Bash two years running. If you're looking for the good times, tears in the beer,
or anything in between then you must come and see DIRTY GREEN. Cheers.
